Interivew Volunteers have a key role at Grey Face! You are responsible for getting to know new volunteers and fosters, providing information about Grey Face Rescue and informing our team if they will be a good candidate for the role they are applying for. Your role will simply be to give them a call, walk through the provided questions, and then return the completed responses to our Foster or Volunteer Manager.

It’s a great way to get involved and play an important part in welcoming new members into our Grey Face family!

Volunteers will have the opportunity to pick and choose which applications they will interview and will receive the following with each application they are asked to do an interview for:

Script / Intro spiel: A warm welcome statement about Grey Face Rescue.
Interview questions: Clearly formatted with space for notes.
Next steps: Who/where to send completed interview forms.

You will have the option to fill out a fillable PDF or print a document and scan/photograph back to the appropriate Manager.

Applications will be forwarded to all Interview Volunteers. If you are able to complete the interview, reply ALL simply letting the others know you will be conducting the interview.

Volunteer Interview Form (click here): Download to your computer, fill out on your computer or print, handwrite the answers and return to Manager by either scanning or taking a photo on your phone and sending via email.

If applicants have any additional questions, feel free to tell them that you will ask and provide them an answer after you get the answer.

If volunteers are not returning phone calls or answering, you can always email to set up a time. However, if they are not willing to proceed with an interview then we cannot move forward with the volunteer or foster opporunities with Grey FAce.
