Thank you for your interest in a leadership position with Grey Face Rescue. Leadership positions are essential to our day-to-day operation and have a direct affect on the senior dogs in our care.
All leadership roles are volunteer positions but do receive incentives.

Marketing Coordinator

Hours per week: 5-15 hours per week
Position Type: Volunteer

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to help grow the Grey Face Rescue brand and need a passionate social media and marketing person to join the team.

Position Details

  • The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the direction, planning and leadership of online social media channels for Grey Face Rescue and sub-page:

    • Creating engaging text, image and video content; post content across multiple social media channels in partnership with internal staff members as well as external adopters and volunteers

    • Develop and manage social posting strategy to increase page likes, viewership and engagement

    • Current social media pages include: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn

  • Work closely with Event Manager to promote all events through various channels

  • Manage campaigns both electronic and printed including:

    • Monthly e-newsletter

    • Quarterly physical newsletter communications

    • Create and mail personalized thank you acknowledgments to donors, event planners, and volunteers as needed on behalf of the organization

  • Manage Grey Face Rescue owned email, marketing@greyfacerescue.org

  • Updating website content and verbiage as needed

  • Create and publish weekly blog posts

  • Write press releases when needed

Experience Required

  • Marketing and social media experience

  • Must live in or near the St. Cloud area

  • Proficient in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Yelp, Google+, YouTube and LinkedIn

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be creating and delivering messages to the public on behalf of GFR&R

  • Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Gmail, Social Media, Squarespace

  • Excellent organizational, time management and creative thinking skills

  • Ability to check emails & Facebook daily

Volunteer Manager

Hours per week: 5-15 hours per week

Position Type: Volunteer

Grey Face Rescue is currently searching for a Volunteer Manager! This position will focus on on-boarding, training and keeping continued communication with the volunteers interested in getting involved with Grey Face Rescue.

Position Details

  • Work closely with fellow Leadership team members to staff events and fulfill volunteer opportunities.

  • On-board and welcome new volunteers to our volunteer program and set them up for success.

  • Manage Grey Face Rescue owned email, volunteer@greyfacerescue.org

  • Communicate weekly to approved volunteers and potential volunteers.

  • Host volunteer orientation once per month.

Experience Required

  • Previous volunteer management experience

  • Must live in or near the St. Cloud area

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be representing GFR&R both via email and in person.

  • Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Gmail, Social Media,

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to check emails & Facebook daily

Event Manager

Hours per week: 5-15 hours per week

Position Type: Volunteer

We are looking for a competent Event Manager to oversee and organize events that will make an impact to a target audience. You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.

An event manager is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Job Details

  • Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives

  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success

  • Coordinate all operations

  • Lead promotional activities for the event

  • Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)

  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event

  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur

  • Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as event manager

  • Proficient computer skills: GoogleDrive, Gmail, Social Media, Squarespace

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
