Leadership Positions Available

Thank you for your interest in a leadership position with Grey Face Rescue. Leadership positions are essential to our day-to-day operation and have a direct affect on the senior dogs in our care.
All leadership roles are volunteer positions but do receive incentives.


Development Coordinator

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Coordinator will organize and track internal efforts for GFR&R.

Responsibilities

  • Manage info@greyfacerescue.org email and forward emails to appropriate staff members.

  • Manage the implementation of the donor database (RescueGroups) and responsible for data entry and gift processing.

  • Manage and oversee Always Remembered program.

  • Oversee merchandise sales and ordering.

  • Post regularly on Craigslist and other promotional sites.

  • Assist in the execution of GFR&R Annual Events. 

Qualifications

  • Marketing and/or Business background a must

  • Must embrace the mission of Grey Face Rescue & Retirement.

  • Strong typing skills.

  • Possess the skills to work with other volunteers.

  • Be organized and exhibit “follow through” on tasks and goals.

  • Must be able to communicate with the Executive Director daily.

  • Must be able to check email and Facebook daily.

  • Experience in GoogleDrive, GoogleDocs, GoogleSpreadsheet and GoogleForms.

  • Must be able to attend weekly leadership meetings.

Commitment

A minimum of 10-12 hours per week with availability to check email and Facebook daily.

Volunteer Manager

Hours per week: 5-15 hours per week

Position Type: Volunteer

Grey Face Rescue is currently searching for a Volunteer Manager! This position will focus on on-boarding, training and keeping continued communication with the volunteers interested in getting involved with Grey Face Rescue.

Position Details

  • Work closely with fellow Leadership team members to staff events and fulfill volunteer opportunities.

  • On-board and welcome new volunteers to our volunteer program and set them up for success.

  • Manage Grey Face Rescue owned email, volunteer@greyfacerescue.org

  • Communicate weekly to approved volunteers and potential volunteers.

  • Host volunteer orientation.

Experience Required

  • Previous volunteer management experience

  • Must live in or near the St. Cloud area

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be representing GFR&R both via email and in person.

  • Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Gmail, Social Media,

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to check emails & Facebook daily

Event Manager

Hours per week: 5-10 hours per week

Position Type: Volunteer

We are looking for an Event Manager to oversee and organize events that will make an impact to a target audience and dogs seeking their forever homes. You’ll ensure events are successful!

Job Details

  • Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives

  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success

  • Coordinate all operations

  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event

  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur

  • Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

  • Manage Grey Face Rescue owned email, events@greyfacerescue.org

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as event manager

  • Proficient computer skills: GoogleDrive, Gmail, Social Media, Squarespace

  • Outstanding communication 

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • A knack for problem-solving

  • Customer-service orientation

  • A team player with leadership skills

  • Must live near the St. Cloud area
