An Interview with Karlee – She’s Game for Anything

Want to fall in love instantly? Meet Karlee. She’s a 9 year-old pit bull terrier mix and is as happy as can be. Karlee has been nicknamed a “little potato” and she has been known to snuggle into everyone’s hearts.

Q. What’s your ideal day?

A. If my day is filled with lots of activities with my humans, then I’m perfectly happy. I love being wherever they are, whether that’s playing a little fetch, going for a short walk or cuddling up in the house.

Q. If you were a type of jelly bean, what would you be?

A. I’m going to go with very cherry because I’m a classic! My mood doesn’t sour and everyone (well everyone that I’ve met so far) likes me. And I like them back, too! You can never go wrong with a little classic puppy love.

Q. How do you feel about hanging out with those small two-legged friends?

A. Small ones? I love them! They love to play and have a great imagination, just like me. Plus, if they don’t want to play, I’m always in for some comfort snuggles or a nap. I also love playing dress up and showing my sassier side. I’ve been known to walk away from a play date with kids looking quite fabulous.

Q. And what about furry friends?

A. All new furry friends are fine with me – oh wait, let me rephrase. All new furry DOGS are fine with me. Cats, not so much. I do very well with other larger dogs! Playtime is fun with some friends, as long as everyone gets along. The more the merrier!

Q. Big party or small gathering?

A. Hmmm… I’m in between on this one! Although, I love meeting new people and friends, I would have to say that deep down I prefer a smaller gathering. I know, I know. I said “the more the merrier in the last question! But I pick a small gathering only because I love having quality time with my humans and very good friends!

Q. What’s a surprising fact about your breed?

A. Well I think it’s pretty exciting that I’m a pit bull terrier to begin with! Pit bulls get such a bad rap, but I’ve never understood why. I know I’m a lover and I hope people can meet me soon and find that out, too. A surprising fact about pit bulls though is that “pit bull” is not a breed, but rather it is type of dog that includes American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers and pit mixes. Hope that helps clear some things up for everyone. :)
